Blogging

BrianUganda 2015

Last trip to Africa I kept notes about my trip in something called trip boss. It was an app. It was on my old iPad which I have now given away to this charity. So the memories of that trip are now only stored in my head – which seems to be at its storage limit.

This trip I’m using this blog. It will give me a way to save the blog and store it for the future, something that I can look back on from time to time. I don’t think it’s really riveting stuff for others reading it although since others can look at it and know I’m doing ok I try and make it a priority to update.

Some days I don’t feel like I have a lot to say that’s positive. The work is making me view the world differently but it’s sometimes a little depressing to see what’s happening here. I guess I just really don’t want anyone to think that I think I have something profound to say each day. Most days I don’t have anything profound to say, some days I feel like writing a blog is a little pretentious in itself. But I will keep trying to write about what I am doing here and what’s it’s like and I hope it’s interesting.

I’m off to breakfast now. Have a wonderful day.

Thanks, B
