I MISS HOME! I remember when I was a kid and I’d be away from home and get homesick. I hadn’t remembered that feeling for a long time but I do now 😌 Let’s see it’s Monday night so I have 5 more nights here and then I leave this beautiful wild country of Uganda. The time has flown by and I have a cram packed week until I leave and then on Saturday we leave Nombe at 5am to be driven to Kisoro, and literally walk back across the border to Rwanda and then a small bus for an hour, to a large bus for an hour and a half, then a taxi to the Kigali airport,…

See! I’m homesick !

Tomorrow we do some really interesting stuff. We do visits to farms that are trying to get in to the seed bank program first thing and to do that we take the Nombe hill path , so I long hard walk. At 1030 we visit a long term Seed bank participant.

Then we spend a couple hours planning for my big surprise event on Wednesday! I can’t wait to tell everyone about it!! But until it happens I don’t want to jinx it!
